Cultural Resources Plan
The U.S. Army published the Cultural Resources Management Plan (CRMP) for JPG in August 1996. The CRMP provides the guidelines and procedures for managing JPG's cultural resources and documents the archeological and architectural resources and local prehistoric and historic site locations. Listed below are the NRHP-listed or NRHP-eligible properties that should be protected, preserved, or mitigated for loss if impacts are unavoidable.
Built Environment
a.) 74 World War II buildings are proposed for the NRHP district.b.) 2 pre-war buildings, the 1869 Oakdale School and the 1920s Old Timbers Lodge, which are now NRHP-listed.
c.) 8 bridges, four of which are NRHP-listed (Bridges Nos. 17, 25, 27, and 28) and four others are potentially eligible.
