DU Training at JPG

Access to JPG is managed and controlled to ensure the safety and health of all personnel who visit or conduct work at the installation.

The following organizations provide related training:

• U.S. Army - The entire installation, except for areas managed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) and U.S. Air Force (USAF)
• USFWS - Big Oaks National Wildlife Refuge
• USAF - 50-acre bombing range, 983-acre conventional bombing range, and the 5-acre Old Timbers Lodge.
  

These organizations ensure all visitors are informed about site hazards by providing safety briefing materials on the site history, hazards of DU and unexploded ordnance (UXO), and appropriate actions when UXO or DU is encountered. See the following for more details:
